GET 2020 Meeting: Renewed Committment with Ten Years To Go

  In April 2010, despite travel disruptions

  due to a volcanic ash cloud, ITI and other

  members of the World Health Organization

  (WHO) Alliance for the Global Elimination

  of Blinding Trachoma (GET 2020) gathered

  in Geneva to assess what is needed to

Ongoing Support for ITI and Partner in Oromia Region, Ethiopia

  The Lavelle Fund for the Blind has

  decided to extend its work in Ethiopia

  through 2013 with ITI and its longtime

  local partner, Grarbet Tehadiso Mahber

  (GTM). The decision means increased

  support for all components of the WHO-

  supported SAFE strategy, which included

  surgery, antibiotics, face-washing and
