Since 1999, with our partners, we prevented blindness by performing nearly 328,000 eyelid surgeries and by administering nearly 73 million antibiotic treatments.



The cost of performing an eyelid surgery is less than $25 in some countries and is less than a night out at the movies!

You can help support the International Trachoma Initiative's efforts to eliminate blindness from trachoma in one or more of the following ways:
