Bios

Christina Dykstra Mead, Chief Administrative Officer
Christina Dykstra Mead joined ITI in 2006 to direct the day-to-day operations of the organization, including financial planning, accounting practices, and implementation of communication programs. Ms. Mead manages all activities for the Board and Board committees; she also oversees the implementation of ITI’s strategic plan.

Ms. Mead is an accomplished executive with 25 years of experience in the non-profit, corporate and government sectors. As Provost and Chief Operating Officer with Washington National Cathedral, Ms. Mead managed $24 million in capital and operating budgets, provided executive oversight for all operations, and supervised institutional strategic and operational plans. At Reading is Fundamental in Washington, DC, Ms. Mead became Vice President and Chief Financial Officer after serving as Finance Director for nearly 20 years. Early in her career, Ms. Mead was a research associate and administrator for McKinsey & Company in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Ms. Mead holds a Master of Public Administration from New York University Graduate School of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin (Madison).
